Mustard powder

Bearer of one of the main tastes – bitter, this blend of ground white mustard seeds and turmeric will give a new aspect to your barbecue, roasted meat, fish or vegetables. And that’s not all – you can make homemade mustard using our recipe or yours.

Ingredients:

    Homemade mustard

    • mustard powder
    • wine
    • vinegar
    • salt
    • dry or fresh spices (optional)
    Cooking
    1. Mix 50g mustard powder and 70ml of liquid (vinegar, white wine, water or a combination of these) and mix well.
    2. Add 1/2 tsp. salt.
    3. Optionally, season with honey, horseradish or spices.
    4. Cover and let it sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours, up to 2-3 days. In the meantime check the mustard and if it becomes too thick, add some liquid.
    5. Once you are satisfied with the taste and thickness of the mustard, store in a refrigerator.
