It’s very easy and you need only a few ingredients 🙂
Combine 50g mustard powder with 70 ml liquid (vinegar, white wine, water or a combination of the three) and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix thoroughly and leave at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
After 24 hours the basic mustard is ready to be flavoured. You can add fresh or dry herbs and spices (like tarragon, horseradish, garlic, etc.), honey / agave / brown sugar or leave it plain.
If you want to make the mustard smoother, mix with a blender to the desired texture, then store in a refrigerator. Wait 2-3 days before consuming it till the natural bitterness of mustard goes away.
